This site was set up before I left Active Duty in the U.S. Army when I was toying with the idea of starting my own cleaning business. I never did anything with it, but found my name ( Christyanna Smith ) and my nonexistant company under attack after I left a negative review for RideSmart Motorcycle Training Inc (in Phoenix Arizona) after I went to this school in order to learn how to ride a motorcycle (my review of their school is below).
The owner of the company Mrs Angela Orton has hounded me by flagging my reviews of her school on the major websites, and has gone as far as looking up my family, calling my dad and despite her school's Privacy policy, posted my name, home address and phone number, including my dad's phone number on ripoff.com in making false accusations claiming to be someone I worked for.
[It's my assumption that it is Mrs Angela Orton or someone associated with her school since all of this only started the next day after my review of her school. It was made on the same day she posted her rebuttal to my review on ripoff.com, and given the timing and circumstances and her threats and venemous rebuttals to my review it would appear to be the only logical explanation for such a rediculous un credible post. I have never given the web site listed on her ripoff report to anyone outside of my immediate family, given that I never used it, and never did any work as rentamom.net]. I also don't give my full legal name out to anyone but employers and Mrs Angela Orton's school when they asked for my legal name on their paperwork when I took their class. Same thing with my home address. It is not associated with me anywhere else online. This woman's behavior is basically stalking me online just for leaving a review of my experience of her school.
The author of the defamatory statement on ripoff.com retracted her statement, and appologized and blamed it on mixing up her paperwork, but that dosn't explain the details of my selling a vehicle or my dad's phone number or the fact that I just separated from the military.
See below for our posts on ripoff.com to see how this has developed into a criminal act of libel and defamation of character and a violation of her own website's Privacy Policy.
My initial review of RideSmart Motorcycle Training Inc on Nov 26th 2012:
RideSmart Motorcycle Training Inc Beginners beware. If you can't perform the
10-15 minutes exercises say good bye to your money and the training you paid for
Phoenix, Arizona
Beware if you're a beginner or inexperienced on motorcycles. If you can't keep
up with the "objectives of the class", in the timed exercises you will be told
you cannot continue. No second chances, money gone. There is no offer to come
back and redo anything or discounts on a future class. It happened to me. It was
my first time on a motorcycle. Did the best I could, and was starting to get the
hang of it, but wasn't good enough once the time for the exercise elapsed. I was
told there are too many students in class and not enough time to continue giving
me individual assistance. As a novice I was asked to leave after about 2 hours
of training. If that.
I m now going to go to another school, which is
only $150 and if you fail, they allow you to come back to future classes if
there is space. Very fair and reasonable deal. No pressure that you are going to
be robbed if as a beginner you don't master the exercises in 10 minutes. This
review is not about the instructors, who did a good job during class, but of the
school's policy. Just be aware of the risk before you put $200+ down for a class
supposedly meant for beginners. This company talks about not allowing anyone to
pass who hasn t mastered the skills necessary to survive on the street and meet
MSF guidelines, which is appropriate, but that dosn t mean that they can t offer
more support to get a beginner who signs up for the beginners class by allowing
them to come back and retake a class at a later date like some other
schools.
After writing this review on another site, the vice president of
the school wrote my personal e mail accusing me of wanting to graduate without
passing the exercise. She apparently didn't read the review to gain constructive
feedback from what I wrote, and see that my complaint was about lack of follow
up support to someone who put their trust in her school for their motorcycle
training. This isn't about some flimsy power point generated certificate, or
endorsement which is hardly necessary to take to the streets. Anyone can easily
take the written test to get a learners permit, which I did. Still not driving
until I take another class because I am concerned about safety. Like I said,
just be aware of where you put your money. Most people probably like the course.
Those who are new to motorcycles, just need to be wary with the schools sink or
swim mentality.

Mrs Orton's Rebuttal to my review on Nov 27th:
Motorcycle Safety Foundation Curricula
At RideSmart, we teach a curricula set forth by the Motorcycle Safety
Foundation. This is a national program and curricula that has been taught to
hundreds of thousands of new and returning motorcycle riders. As we discuss with
all our students before the class begins, the student must meet the objectives
of each exercise before they move on in the course. Failure to meet the
objectives will result in being counseled out of class. Each exercise is
allotted a specific amount of time for
demonstration, practice and
evaluation. At no time are students compared or required to “keep up” with other
students to continue in the course.
Being that we only have ten students
in each class, we occasionally have the opportunity to work with each student
individually, and spend extra time with a student who is having difficulty
acquiring a skill. “Miss Smith” was given one-on-one instruction and extra time
on three particular exercises in attempts of helping her learn the curricula.
Unfortunately, she
failed to meet the criteria of the exercises in this
Motorcycle Safety Foundation course.
We offer students to come back to
the course within the next thirty days when an empty seat is available at no
additional cost. However, unlike what Miss Smith referenced as to what another
training school does, we do not continually bring a student back “until they
pass”. It would be an injustice and unsafe to a rider to automatically pass them
should they not acquire the riding skills that may make a difference in their
safety when they drive in traffic. It would also be a conflict of interest to
guarantee that a student pass in return for their tuition payment. We do not
negotiate when it comes to a
riders safety. We cannot give our stamp of
approval for a rider to get their license when they have not met the objectives
that the Motorcycle Safety Foundation deem as necessary to ride in today’s
traffic. It would be better for
a student to find their own boundaries in a
class situation rather than be given a false sense of skill, risking their life
and safety on the roadway.
It’s clear that Miss Smith expected guaranteed
graduation, regardless of her ability to meet the objectives and ride in a
controlled, satisfactory and controlled manner. We wish her the best in
advancing her riding skill and hope that she obtains her hopes and dreams of
riding. Most importantly, we hope that she acquire the skills necessary to ride
in a safe,
reliable, consistent manner. Unfortunately she did not meet the
objectives of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course while at
RideSmart, and she chose not to return to continue her education.
Prior
to starting class, Ms. Smith also signed a registration form that states in bold
lettering and underlined that there is no guarantee
that a student will complete the class. The curricula is written by the
Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and just administered by our instructors. It
is clear from Ms. Smith's responses that her main goal is about money, not
safety, not expert opinion or meeting the objectives that the Motorcycle Safety
Foundation deems important before a student progresses in class. We also have
her on video tape being told our policies about having her come back to class
within the next thirty days to work on her training. She seems to have a
personal vendetta and even though we have her signature on paperwork discussing
our policies, and have her on tape being told the policies, she denies knowing
what they are. Some people are impossible to please and this particular person
seems to glean enjoyment from posting slander against a company that has taught
tens of thousands of riders using the MSF's successful curricula.

"Margo's" review (who I believe is Mrs Angela Orton or someone associated with her school) on Nov 27th 2012:
RentAMom.net Christyanna Smith Don't "rent" this thief!!! Phoenix, Arizona
As the holidays were approaching, I needed assistance with house cleaning and
some cooking. Being that Christyanna Smith, nickname Ana of RentAMom.net, was
previously in the military, I thought she'd be trust-worthy and have integrity.
This was very important to me when inviting someone into my home, to be around
my family and belongings, and feeding my family.
I should have known when
I first met her that she seemed "off". She seemed overly emotional, like she
had serious issues. Knowing that this type of work typically was done by
someone that has to rely more on physical endurance rather than intellect, I
gave her the benefit of the doubt. I actually felt pity towards her and decided
to let her clean my home. Someone has to be hard up to agree to clean a
strangers toilet.
Her demand over money prior to cleaning was sort of bad
business. She seemed SO focused on getting paid, and she hadn't worked yet.
However, being that she was new I wasn't quite sure if that was normal, so I
agreed and prepaid her. Then when I found out she had nothing to bring to the
table...I had additional red flags go up. She didn't even bring a washcloth to
use. She expected me to have everything available to her - wash clothes, paper
towels, cleaning solutions, the mop and vacuum, even rubber gloves. She showed
up totally ill prepared and acted like she was some princess doing me a
favor.
She spent a good portion of the first ten minutes of her visit
texting on her phone, and then started talking about an RV that she had for
sale. She even went so far as to ask if I wanted to buy it. She said, "Just
call John at 480-370-8422. You have to see it!" She was fanatical about
it...as though she was desperate for the money. I never expressed interest and
really wanted her to get focused on what I paid her to do.
I couldn't spend the entire time baby sitting her, so I did other tasks in the house while
getting ready for Thanksgiving. I only wish I'd stayed with her. When she
left, I had $700 worth of valuable missing from my bedroom drawer, and my
daughters piggy bank was empty! My six year old little girl was devastated. My
husband, whom encountered her when she took the trash out, said she'd acted
inappropriately with him. He felt very uncomfortable as though she was making
advances toward him. That's totally unlike him.
I cannot believe I paid
for this!
I recommend you stay as far away from Christyanna Smith, AKA
Ana of RentAMom.net and save yourself heartache. She's really off and her
cleaning was HORRIBLE!
If you don't want to feel robbed and violated, I
recommend you hire a professional service. This woman's substandard,
unprofessional website, as well as her unstable emotional behavior,
inappropriate attitude, make her a miserable person to be around. You'd be
lucky to not be a victim of this thief either.

Her subsequent retraction on Nov 28th 2012:
Oops! Wrong person & wrong company!
Oh my! I was looking at my documents and noticed I mentioned the wrong person
and wrong company! I was using a different RentAMom company. LOL. This had
nothing to do with RentAMom.net nor Christyanna Smith (AKA Ana). My
sincerest apologies for the error. ;)

Business dosn't even exist
This never happened. I did make a website for these services before leaving the
Army when I was playing around with the idea of what to do for work in this
economy, but never worked a day doing it. I never cleaned for anyone. This is
a personal attack against me by someone associated with RideSmart Motorcycle
Training Inc. I went to their school and left a bad review online This is
their way of being vindictive and attempting to defame my character and non
existent company. I gave her school personal information when I signed up for
the course and it just wound up here. So much for a Privacy Policy.

My 2nd reponse on Dec 4th 2012-since the previous one didn't post right away.
Total Fabrication
For the record this company (rentamom.net) dosn't even exist. I made this
website when I was toying with ideas of self employment before I left the Army.
This website was never fully complete or published, and I never cleaned in
ANYONE's home, much less for this "Margo" person. I imagine my webpage was
found doing an online search using my e mail address or phone number.
This libelous review has (in my assumption) been posted by
someone associated with RideSmart Motorcycle Training Inc/ (owned by Angela
Orton, a person I have never met) to defame my character as a means of
intimidation because of my plan to file a small claims case against her school.
The fact that the poster had to recind, and write an appology/update
shows that the poster realized what they've done to themselves (legally) and
attempted to backpedal. That feable attempt at character assasination counts as
libel and character assasination without foudation or grounds and will result in
civil action and a lawsuit for deliberate and false defamation of character and
my good name and is a basis for a higher level of litigation.
It gets more bizare with Mrs Orton who in my opinion is out of control.
I'll spare the reader any other details.
